Last week, we gathered in Canberra to mark an important milestone in the Clinic1 journey, celebrating a year of extraordinary progress and the incredible momentum we’re carrying into 2026.

What made this moment truly special was not simply the celebration itself, but the story behind it:

11,000+ hours of dedicated engineering
375,730 carefully written lines of code

And in Adelaide at APA2025, that vision met reality.

A Breakthrough Moment at APA2025

At the Adelaide exhibition, Clinic1 was formally unveiled for the very first time, a next-generation platform that redefines what clinic owners, physiotherapists, and allied-health teams should expect from modern software.

The response was overwhelming.

Across three days, we held hundreds of conversations with clinics from all corners of Australia. Many shared the same frustrations: fragmented systems, overworked practitioners, administrative bottlenecks, and digital tools that simply weren’t built for real clinical life.

Clinic1’s debut changed the tone entirely.

Clinics were excited. They felt heard. They saw a product built for them, not as an afterthought, but as a first-principles redesign of the entire care lifecycle.

The interest, sign-ups, and immediate uptake during and after the event validated what we have worked toward for a year:

Australia is ready for AI-native clinical operations, and Clinic1 is leading that shift.

This momentum formed the heart of the celebration in Canberra.

A Launch That Symbolised More Than a Product

In the words of Clinic1’s founder and CEO, a physiotherapist, PHD candidate, and clinician, the event represented something deeper than a product milestone:

“Human connection is everything.”
“For Clinic1 and its amazing team of developers, it was an essential celebration after an amazing first year.”

And he was right.

In an industry where 99% of our communication happens on Zoom, Slack, and email, taking a moment to step out of the digital world and connect face-to-face mattered more than we anticipated. Engineers, designers, physiotherapists, investors, friends, and families stood together not just to celebrate what we built,  but to honour the people who built it.

The Clinic1 team across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and beyond joined in, including those who couldn’t attend physically, watching via a live video wall on the venue screens. It was a tribute to the shared commitment that made this milestone possible.

A Toast to the People Who Made This Possible

Early Investors

We recognised those who backed Clinic1 when it was nothing more than a bold idea, a clinical insight, and an audacious ambition. These early believers didn’t just invest capital; they invested trust, mentorship, and courage. At the launch, we shared a detailed update with them, showcasing our technology, strategy, and roadmap. What they saw was clear: Clinic1 is no longer an idea. It is emerging as a world-class platform and a future global contender in allied-health technology.

Family & Friends

Every great startup stands on the shoulders of loved ones, the people who hear late-night doubts, offer perspective during tough turns, and keep founders grounded. Recognising them was one of the most meaningful parts of the night.

The Clinic1 Team

Over 11,000 hours across 12 months.
375,730 lines of code with obsessive attention to detail.
Countless design iterations, clinical workshops, and testing cycles.

The dedication of the development team — from software engineering to product design, QA, data science, and AI architecture — reflects what Clinic1 has become: a deep-tech product, built with precision, rigour, and empathy for clinicians.

Building a Culture Worth Scaling

As the CEO highlighted during the event, culture is not an accessory; it is foundational. We have always believed that world-class products can only be created by world-class teams operating in a world-class environment.

Clinic1’s culture is built on:

Respect for the craft of engineering, physiotherapy, design, data science, product strategy.

Transparency and integrity in the way we collaborate.

Continuous learning grounded in real clinical feedback.

An unwavering commitment to helping clinicians deliver better patient care.

This culture is our greatest long-term competitive advantage.

Where We Go From Here

The Canberra event wasn’t the end of a journey, it was the beginning of Clinic1’s next chapter.

With the extraordinary response from APA2025 and the high volume of clinics now onboarding across the country, our mission is clearer than ever:

To become the most trusted, intelligent, AI-native operating system for allied-health clinics in Australia — and soon, globally.

Clinics are already relying on Clinic1 to manage patient care, streamline front-desk operations, automate documentation, forecast caseloads, and elevate the entire care experience. The future roadmap includes deeper AI integrations, advanced interoperability, predictive analytics, and new clinical specialisations.
