Software Co sets up and runs the cloud, releases pipelines, monitoring and recovery plans behind custom software for Australian businesses, on AWS or Azure. We start with three checks, a Release Path Map, a Blast Radius Review and a Restore Test, and we hand over a calendar of end of life dates so runtime changes are planned and not discovered. Our case studies include apps hosted on AWS and on Azure, and our teams work from Sydney and Melbourne and serve clients Australia wide.
Why Australian Enterprises Partner With Software Co for Cloud Operations
Honest about what you need
If your IT provider already runs a good environment, or Kubernetes is more than you need, we say so.
Hosted software in production
Our published case studies show AWS (Clinic1, Fieldr, Shoprun) and Microsoft Azure (BizCap), alongside the apps we built.
Dates, not adjectives
We give you a calendar of end of life dates for your own runtimes and platforms, which is the part of operations that surprises people.
Recovery tested, not assumed
Backups are separated and restores are tested, because a plan that has never been run is a guess.
Custom DevOps Engineering & Infrastructure Solutions
The 5-Point Cloud Resilience Inspection Protocol
Release Path Map
Can you draw how a change gets from a developer's laptop to your customers, including who approves it and how it is reversed?
Blast Radius Review
If one account, one region or one database failed or was compromised, what would stop and what would survive?
Restore Test
When was a backup last restored into a clean environment and checked? An untested backup is only a hope.
Runtime Calendar
Which versions of your languages, frameworks, databases and servers reach end of life in the next 12 months?
Bill Review
Can you say which part of your cloud bill belongs to which product and environment?
Our 6-Step DevOps & Cloud Delivery Lifecycle
Release Path Map
We trace how code reaches production today: who commits, who approves, what is tested, where it is deployed and how it is rolled back. Gaps become the first list of work.
Environments & Access Plan
We decide which environments you need, who can reach each one, and how secrets, accounts and permissions are managed, so no one holds more access than they need.
Infrastructure as Code & Pipelines
We define the environment in code, and build automated testing and deployment so a release is a routine event and not a weekend project.
Monitoring & Alerts
We set up logs, metrics and alerts for the things that matter to your users, and decide who gets woken for what.
Backups, Recovery & Blast Radius
We separate backups from the main environment, write the recovery order, and run a restore test. We also limit what a single mistake or compromised account can damage.
Runtime Calendar & Cost Review
We hand over a calendar of end of life dates for your runtimes and platforms, and review the cloud bill monthly at first, so surprises are found early.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Software Co for cloud and DevOps, or is my existing IT provider enough?
No, not always. If a managed service provider or cloud partner already runs your environment well, keep them. We add the most value when your custom software needs its own release path, environments and monitoring, when the people who built the app are not the people who run it, or when nobody owns the pipeline from code to production. We often work alongside an existing IT provider, and we will tell you if the gap you describe is theirs to close.
